yep, these are offroad trucks. Ram can drag race all they want, but the real test will be a baja race. its like saying a challenger can out-tow a mustang. that's not what they are built for.
I'm happy with it. You really need to go to your Ford dealership and sit down in a new 21 f150 to really appreciate the new interior. It really is night and day when you go back and forth. I am very happy with the interior and am looking forward to getting it in a new raptor.
I saw some renderings of a Shelby Raptor interior earlier today on my IG as well.
What if the V8 is going to be Shelby themed straight from factory? makes sense, if they decide to use the 5.2L
...and the rumor of it being called the Raptor R? like the GT350 R?
hmm
I have a customer that buys a new Limited from me every year. And this year, he was upset that he didn't get his HO. He just took delivery of his order 2 weeks ago. He's going to be even more mad, if they bring it back for the Raptor and put it back in the Limited half way through the year. lol
fingers crossed, lol. my dealership is usually pretty aggressive with our pricing and i doubt we will add much onto it. the only vehicles here that had any mark up in the last year were the gt500's. otherwise, we are at msrp or closer to invoice on the high volume vehicles.
right now, i have 3...
I work at dealership and i just want to say that all your salesman know just as much as the rest of us, lol. all speculations at this point, other than the teasers. my fingers are crossed though on the V8, and i will be placing my order right next to your guys' :) Wednesday cant get here...
I sell Fords and have been very impressed with the 21's. So far, they pretty much sell themselves. I had 2 customers the came in for a lariat and left with XLT's. The last one, I sold for 10k under MSRP.
I don't care what others' opinions are. all that is important when it comes to pickup shopping is what i like. i'm currently in a '19 and I've been waiting for the v8 for a while. But if it gets horrible gas mileage, like the tiny armed trex, then i'd have to say no. I don't want to have to...
With the Ford pass, the 2018's got 3 years free, 2019's got 2 years free, and 2020's get 1 year free. As far as how much it'll cost afterwards, no one knows yet.
I had that same one (AVS Aeroskin II) on my '15 F-150, and there were a couple times it actually helped deflect small birds right over my windshield while driving through Wyoming.
...and I was quite surprised with the durability. It lasted through multiple seasons from -30 to 114.
