Don't mean to hijack the thread but here is an update on my situation.
Truck still at dealership. Ford Eng has determined a windshield defroster corrosion fault as the culprit for the pre-collision warning message. Part won't arrive until next week.

Thanks. I'll mention the warning to the service advisor.
I have a Blackvue camera and a mount for my Valentine One all located behind the rear view mirror. Ford tech is trying to say the add on equipment is to blame for sensor block. That's not possible since both the Blackvue camera and...
I just had the warning on my 2019 with 9800 miles. Pre-Collision and Adaptive Cruise Control says sensor is blocked.
So far all dealer has done is clear the code but the problem is intermittent.
Coincidentally the front bumper was hit by another truck that backed into me a few months ago...
Thanks for the update. Yes, it does look like the same Spicer instructions. Good to see the Ford faceplate rivets are in tact on yours. After all, the faceplate is what the extra $100 we are paying for compared to the Spicer branded identical diff.

Yes, that is correct. Just trying to understand from those that purchased a FPP branded diff cover, did it come with Spicer labeled installation instructions. If it did, great, I will probably do as you have done to affix the faceplate.
If persons who purchased a FPP branded diff cover...
Apparently my question is not easily understood. For those that purchased a FPP branded diff cover did it come with Spicer install instructions. Not asking for advice on how to install, just asking if Spicer vs FPP install instructions were included.

Yeah, install is easy, that's not my concern. For those that did purchase and paid for a Ford branded diff cover did it come with instructions from Spicer or FPP?

For those who ordered a Ford Performance Part version not a Spicer part version, were the install instructions from Spicer or FPP?

By the way, a rivet is missing from the Ford Performance Faceplate affixed to the differential cover I purchased. Now with...
What was the final verdict on needing to add a friction modifier to the oil? I read the thread but did not find anything conclusive.
Also on the gasket, I believe its being referred to as the lube locker, is the gasket that comes with the FPP not good enough?
I just ordered the FPP from CJ's...
Picked up a new 2020 BMW R1250 GS Adventure today and hauled it home in the back of the Raptor. Didnt even know it was back there. Truck didn't sag, had plenty of power actually gave a smoother ride

Just reading how Ford is working with 3M to use the interior seat fan as part of the PAPR's needed for healthcare workers when dealing with the coronavirus
Also Ford is working on building face mask and ventilators.
Good to see American companies doing what they can in this crisis

Every dealer I have spoken to have said stick with stock. Some have said other customers that have switched are asking if they have stock exhaust that they can put back into their trucks.
Had the strange noise that seems like an exhaust shield rattling upon light throttle. Truck at dealership and they are saying possible "wastegate".
Is there a fix for this or is this something that you just deal with?
