Snow, how deep can you go

14 inches of fresh snow on concrete was no match. The guys who do the raptor run up in michigan i am sure have done a lot deeper snow.

    Red Hot Turbos

Pretty much any modern turbo motor has after run cooling. In fords case, they circulate engine oil or coolant for a period of time after the motor shuts off. Each manufacturer has a different strategy. Turbo times or cool down periods have been obsolete for almost 20 years

GEN 2 1 Mile Remote Starter range via new fob

Viper one was on the 1st wireless alrams. I installed a sh!t ton of them way back in 1987 - 1993 when I was a alarm and stereo guy. Viper, or correctly DEI (Directed Electronics Incorporated) were cutting edge 30 years ago. Glad to see they are still around and producing a quality product. I...

My Raptor fits in my work parking garage by an inch at the roof.

Very close call. 1st time I drove my Raptor to my new office and the parking garage has 2 metal poles hanging down with 6'6" painted on them. As I pull up I had to open the sunroof and door to check since it is on a slight decline going in. This is how close it was.

    High RPM on chilly days

NO and unpossible. The 1st few gears use the torque converter in the transmission. It is possible to see slightly higher RPM's as the fluid warms up. But only slightly. And it should go to normal inside 1-2 mins. It is unpossible for the RPMS to be higher then the gear ration above 5th...

YOU DO NOT NEED CHAINS...you are reading it wrong. Requirement 1 (R-1): Chains are required on all vehicles except passenger vehicles and light-duty trucks under 6,000 pounds gross weight and equipped with snow tires on at least two drive wheels. Chains must be carried by vehicles using snow...

    Toyo AT3 35 12.50 Road noise

20's does not help. Tis truck is meant to ride on a very compliant sidewall of rubber. the extra rubber is part of the suspension.

It is DONE!. Started my B&O replacement stereo install.

Electric Tape on the solder connections. I made provisions to ensure no pinch would happen. I am well aware of what sound deadener can do for an install. I had an IASCA car where every panel was done with double layers of dynamat. For this install I skipped it because I did not want the...

Taller wheels w/lift or no lift

Like a F1 car, the tire is part of the suspension. All you will do by putting that much rim under the car is making it ride like sh!t and remove a lot of of road performance. You should have bought a Harley Davidson F150 if you wanted to roll on dubs

    GEN 2 KO2 wet roads?

Well, now you know your capabilities. And your trucks. Don't blame the tires for you getting on the brakes too hard. Modulate. If you let the ABS do it for you, you already missed the mark on proper braking.
