bro...don't do it. I would hate to see you around town and be laughing at you behind my tinted windows call you a noob, before rolling down the windows and saying hello, nice raptor. It would just be awkward for me.
:)
it is a weekend not spent at home, driving some one else's truck. Think of it more as entertainment than education. Like going to a movie in another city.
I am a "car guy" and was a noob at off road.....i learned something and had fun.....worth it for me to be entertained for a weekend for...
YSATI = you suck at the internet
Ford IWE google search = https://www.google.com/search?q=ford+iwe&rlz=1C5CHFA_enUS941US941&oq=ford+iwe&aqs=chrome..69i57j0l9.2000j1j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
What is Ford IWE?
For the uninitiated, Ford's Integrated Wheel End (IWE) system is what locks and...
The Brushless one by me fits the Raptor no problem. Plenty of cars with tires as wide as the Raptor.
The brushed one specifically has a sign that says cars with wider fenders should not be sent in.
The issue is not the wheel width, it is the sensors for the things on the side of the car...
My dad taught me that lesson in 1985. I was all proud that I had 5 Dwight Gooden Tops Rookie cards that were worth $20 each. So I had $100 as a 13 year old, and they were gonna be worth millions when i got older.
Dad said, they are "worth what someone is willing to pay" and he took me to a...
Again, that is what makes the Raptor special. It is so balanced and composed. It warns the driver well ahead of time when it is coming un glued from the road, and when it does....it is no violent whip. It is very controllable to an individual with the correct skills.
Now, be a noob who...
No. No fuse needed, in fact it would be bad, as it would add tiny tiny amounts of resistance thus defeating the reason you ran to the battery in the 1st place.
No fuse is needed. If a ground "shorts" no harm done because it is after the load and that is where the power wants to go. Not like...
assuming they did it right, thats not a bad looking install at all...definitely not a "rats nest". They could have it tuned to a very front stage (which i like) and the rear fill can be very low.
That is what sets the raptor apart from everything else....it is so balanced and it communicates so well to the driver. you know way ahead of time when you are reaching the limits and when you are there it is still controllable. Not a death flick swap front to rear.
4A for any snow covered roads.....if you are in complete deep snow on road, 4H is fine. But as soon as they start to clear snow get back to 4A.
No real reason to use the locker unless it is just real deep and you want to make sure your locker works.
"snow mode" will just take all the fun out...
I was driving to work. Dusting of snow on the road, and the guy behind me fails. I saw it in. y review view mirror and pulled the tape today.
People just dont know how to drive. Period. No sound because I was on a work call.
I had to go to a lunch meeting and was late. roads were still packed snow covered, but I could go the speed limit.
Most of the people were still not on the road, but every now and then I came across people in their camrey or accords who didnt know how to drive and were doing 15-25 when i...
what he said. I had this exact issue. Whne the car was off, no lights, no chimes.....when i would open the door, right door speaker would have 1 second of static as the truck woke up and I turned on the ignition.
I could "fix" it by waiting 2 seconds after I got in to try and start the truck...
i chose to stay at the Marriot Courtyard 1 exit before the airport. It was only a 25 minute drive (to miller sports park). I am a bit of a hotel snob and the motel 6 near the track was not up to my standards. PLus, there was so much more to do / eat closer to the airport.
