I try to check my oil when it is at normal temp 180-200 and after about a 2 min settle.
Oil expands when hot, and a 2 min settle will be a mix of what's up in the motor and what drains.
Like many, my Gen 2 drivers side heated seat died. 3.2 years and 42,*** miles, so no warranty help.
I bought the replacement heating element for $19. Plugged it in and confirmed it worked and the one in the seat did not. So time to get to work.

I have just learned to throw in park at a light or stop sign to correct as needed.
when mine starts to "rattle". I move it to the vent position, then close it again. That appears to take out all the slack of the gears in the tracks and reseats the glass. Rattles go away for a few days or weeks each time I do it.
I do the lube thing every spring and fall.
My truck is getting g the rear beside replaced this week. I pressed my body shop to not use cheap parts, and they said OEM only or he won't do the work. He said he knows which insurance carriers try to push cheap parts and which dont.

I have maybe $3k in extras in the truck. I just don't understand modding for the sake of modding. If I don't like the truck off the lot, I would not have bought it.
