After putting 35 inch tires on my 2011 screw, I had some minor rubbing. The "shop" that did the wheels and tires here in TN said that they did everything from suspension upgrades to engine replacements. I decided to just let them install a ReadyLift leveling kit and bring my mid-perch back down...
We finally had a warm sunny day here in Nashville yesterday and I worked on my headlight, which had the same issue. I figured out that the front side marker light housing wasn't seated correctly in the headlight housing. I borrowed the wife's hair dryer and removed both the turn signal and...
I was an auto adjuster for several years and agree that the job is extremely sub-par. Most bumpers don't come in painted and time is given to the paint department so that they can tint the paint to match. You'll never get the exact color and quality of the robot that sprayed the truck at the...
I wonder how long the red lettering on the Generals would last. I like the fact that they match the SVT red, but knowing my luck, they'd end up fading to pink.
I just pulled the headlights and swapped the CCFL inverters to try and pinpoint the issue. The halo ring is fine, it's just the $4 inverter.
That being said, if I find one more F'ing cheap t-connector or interior wire nut on this truck I'm going to lose it. The wire ends are corroded and even...
I agree. I just went and checked out the seals on the housing. It looks like they may have just used the original seal (which may explain why one of the fogs up when it rains). I guess I'll take the headlight out tomorrow and see what it's going to take to open it up.

There's no doubt that I'll have to open the housing. I'm just trying to figure out how to open it after it's been epoxy/glued back together without destroying it.
They are CCFL, btw.
I have a set of Sick HIDs that are about 2 years old. I've had to replace the ballast in one (Brian was pretty helpful and sent me out the part right away), other than that I haven't had any major issues. Today I noticed that one of the Angel Eye halo's is out. If I get real close, I can see...
I wanted to give an update on the cutout. The people over at Doug's acknowledged that the gate/valve can get stuck due to the stainless housing expanding from exhaust heat. This made sense, because I had just driven 400miles non-stop when the problem occured. I let the exhaust cool overnight...
I went ahead and had the Doug's installed this weekend. I dropped it off at Rides of Conover in North Carolina and they did an awesome job. We decided to go with just the one cutout instead of two. I'm glad I ordered 2 initially, because one of them promptly burned out. 3 days later and the...
This will be my first time posting (I've been lurking on the forum for a few months now). I actually purchased willis68's Raptor. I'm going to add a Doug's Cutout and was wondering if anyone had put two on their exhaust (1 for each side after the headers and cats). I plan to get it done one...
