Stock headlight condensation. .

Has anyone had this condensation issue and would they cover it under warranty! Any help would be appreciated.

I have condensation in both the headlights and taillights at times, but I live in Seattle so just figured it came with the territory lol.

My taillights do this. I took it in and they stated it is normal as there are vents in them so when they heat up it should go away after time. Now ford said this so take it for what it's worth. I also live in Pacific NW so lot of moisture here.

Theres actually a section in the manual that describes condensation and what are "acceptable" levels.

They will dry out when the humidity drops but if you want to speed it up just bring the light inside overnight.

Do your retros do the same? Will be getting a pair for my 2012 sooner or later...

The light housings are not sealed so every housing has the potential for moisture.

The clear May be sealed to the backing but the ports for the lights will never be air / moisture tight

Same here. Just took my vehicle in for a bad ground and mentioned the condensation in the taillights. They literally said the same thing stated above....

We finally had a warm sunny day here in Nashville yesterday and I worked on my headlight, which had the same issue. I figured out that the front side marker light housing wasn't seated correctly in the headlight housing. I borrowed the wife's hair dryer and removed both the turn signal and marker signal plugs and let warm air blow through the headlight for about an hour. The air actually caused most of the water to pool in the bottom of the headlight (about a cup of water). It's been raining since this was corrected, and I haven't had any issues....yet.
