Ok, before anyone yells at me ...I am not good w searches. I posted that I had an oil leak but it's actually a leak in the tran pan. Is this a common problem. Scheduled to go in Friday for "an hour to check". Any info is appreciated. Thanks in advance
yep...its widespread enough. thought mine was good. parked n garage every day and not a drop of oil. looked good until i crawled underneath and looked under the skid plate ...pan has oil underneath..great to the dealer...1800miles
I tried searching but guess im not smart enough to do it correctly.
I have about 1800 on mine and im about to get oil change. no issues so far. I am planning a family trip in a couple of months and will be going 2500-3000 miles. Just wondering about others with much higher milage. Any issues...
I too love v8s and was worried about the ecoboost. Got my gen2...still hard to wrap my head around the v6. It's unbelievable. I like when folks say "oh it's only a 6 cylinder" then I take then on a ride. Yeah I will consider a new one if they upgrade the engine. Till then this EB is king. I love...
Can someone advise if this is ok. After my install I drove a while and checked everything for tight. I noticed the the coil springs on both sides are not turned to where the ends touch the base (see pic). One is at least 1/2 inch off. Is this a problem? Missed it during install.
Installed my 1.5s over the weekend. Thanks to all who gave instructions and tips. Install was easy. Very happy with the mod. I was surprised at how much of a difference it made. Makes it look "right" not nose down. I'm keeping factory size tires and all. Can't see any negatives at all.
man I sure like the look of the headache rack and bedrails. I guess that's all custom. Anyone know of a similar set up on the bed rails. Ive searched and found nothing. Thanks

nevermind I just found them
Couple questions. I really wanted to keep this rig stock but it does need leveled.can anyone advise if they had any issues after install.
Anyone had to do alignment?
Headlight adjustment?
Is the anything negative about this?
Thanks in advance for any info.
In 2009 I was going to wait for a raptor but needed a truck then. I bought a Tundra sr5 4x4 TRD for 34K sticker (I paid way less than sticker). You cant touch a comparable 2017 Toyota Tundra for that now. I think all trucks have gone up quite a bit.
I got an 801a screw w nav. and a few other options for 57K...super nice vehicle for that price. the only thing that it should have for the money is dual climate control. Ive had several folks ride in it and cant believe they paid more for their F150s.
this was an expensive vehicle for me...
looks good...some people hate plastidip (appears to be similar). I did my FORD emblem and wheels. looks great. easy to touch up or remove. the machined wheels weren't my style. plastidipped em and very happy. I like the tailgate idea. its your truck. do what you want. looks good
No. If you want something hot under the glove box you have to find the matching wire and connect it under the hood. That's the second set of 6 wires. Just remember there are 2 sets under the hood...hot set and a set that runs Back through the firewall. Different than the gen 1.
just so you know...there are 2 sets of 6 capped off wires. total of 12. right under the hood on the left side. on mine only 6 were visible. only one set of the six are "hot" the other set go back through the firewall (so you can run stuff inside if you want)
cost me about an hour and a lot of...
Ok. I'm prob gonna save someone some time here. After a ton a calls today and everyone telling me the pass thru wire are hot I found this out. There are two sets of taped off wires under the hood 6 and 6 for a total of 12. I did not see the second set... Apparently you can connect the matching...
Yeah truck is running. Just to be clear is there anything under dash that needs to be hooked up. The lights on the switches light up already of coarse. I hooked red to blue green upfitter and red/blk ground. No lights ???
Ok I guess me is stupid... I am trying to hook up my RI hyperspot pillar lights. On the relay harness it showed black is ground, blue is switch output to relay and red input power. Do I just connect one of this to upfiter wire and then the others to the battery. Thanks

On the ford website under vehicle details it's shows "tailgate led" when u build an 801a it shows an LED to the right of the tailgate handle. Just wondering Thx
Just picked up my 801a screw (will do review shortly). On the standard features it listed led tailgate. The ford website also showed it in pic. Mine does not have it. Any ideas. Thanks in advance
