New KHC High Clearance Tailpipe Kit

Hope so! That's good to hear at least. I've never liked the saying for some reason, but that's a direct translation to 'smiles per gallon' haha. Thanks again for updating, glad you enjoyed it!

New KHC High Clearance Tailpipe Kit

I am sorry to hear that, but it sounds like a fun trip (?) ! What was your gas mileage at 85 uphill?! Holy moly. I hope you at least enjoyed the ride. I'm not completely unsurprised that it melted, but again, sorry to hear it. I wonder if there's anything that might've prevented that (speed and...

GEN 2 Well today I did a thing

I dig it - as someone who also enjoys the look, the Raptor Tax has been biting. Want a cool front bumper? Just install an upgraded IC- $$$. Want a cool rear bumper? Just install a high clearance tail pipe - $$. So far, I'm in almost 2k to install new bumpers to achieve that look and I haven't...

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

Looks sick! Nice job - that trim makes the difference.

    Shakin' while Brakin'

Great heads-up and thank you. I am hoping to push off shocks for as long as possible now that the rotor situation has been fixed; I had actually looked at a few shops that listed rotor turning as a service only to find out that none of them actually did it anymore.

    Shakin' while Brakin'

Awesome, thanks for the input - I didn't end up having to play with any clips, I just swapped out rotors and it worked. I did, however, have to buy a stud installer/tightener tool, as I'd bonked one loose - great, cheap tool to have on hand in case you're as novice as I am.

New KHC High Clearance Tailpipe Kit

@V6Raptor thanks for the clarity - looks like I'll be needing to add that piece. Again, I appreciate the guidance!

New KHC High Clearance Tailpipe Kit

A thought crossed my mind when I was looking into this on SVC's site - did you order the 'trim' with it? I can't really gauge what that is, I'd think maybe a piece covering the rear panel/outside of bumper connection area? It's not expensive, but not INexpensive when you're already spending that...

New KHC High Clearance Tailpipe Kit

This is the most excellent feedback, thank you thank you. I was going to head towards the baja bumper, but yours looks awesome, so I may just copy that. Last question - has the exhaust note changed at all with the reduction in plumbing? I had never really considered changing the exhaust on this...

New KHC High Clearance Tailpipe Kit

This is most, most excellent - thank you. I am also Goosed, with a Cobb TMC/FMIC and I'm just dying to put on sa-weeeeeet SVC bumpers, but of course the front needed the IC, so I ate that first. Then the rear bumper needed the exhaust...fun fun.

New guy, old lurker. Rochester NY

Looks good! Welcome to the 2018 crew. What mods are you planning? May I suggest, first and foremost, a call over to @GooseTuned and don't forget his TCM. Then...BOV, because they're sa-weeeet. Kidding. A little.

New KHC High Clearance Tailpipe Kit

Morning! Looking at an SVC rear bumper and noticed these on the site, though the price has increased from your posting...5 years ago, ha. Does anyone have any feedback on these? I don't know if it'd affect the tune at all, but I imagine shorting the piping and having different (no) tips might...

    High Mount Intercooler Install Question

No problem - there are two other options for you to look at, as well. 1.) A FRF thread here, which, if you follow it through, has some very nice specifics on where to cut - I also used a Dremel oscillating tool to help with cutting. 2.) A video here, which has an aftermarket bumper - it didn't...

    High Mount Intercooler Install Question

Howdy! I ziptied mine out of the way. Offroad Alliance has an excellent, EXCELLENT video that I followed (here: ). I followed their instructions and have had 0 issues in a couple of months. Best of luck!

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

I finally got around to installing the Cobb IC, guided by this video from Offroad Alliance, as well as this video from CJ Offroad - they were hugely helpful. If you're planning to do it as some point in the future, give yourself extra time and see if you can obtain some sort of oscillating...

Occasionally rattling/clicking noise from front powertrain/differential

I'm going to second what Gumby said and I just fixed mine this morning. The IWE is (new info to me) seemingly a common issue, it was plaguing me for a week. I check the solenoid first and it was holding vacuum in the correct gearing (2), but not in 4 - good news. I then ordered the FoMoCo IWE...

GEN 2 (SOLVED - IWE Check Valve!) Strangeeee clicking - TqConverter? LSD (non-chemical)?!?!

Here's hoping! Thank you for the guidance on this issue, I put in a new check valve after testing the solenoid and running a smoke test, worked like a charm. Maybe now I can not feel guilty putting in my Cobb FMIC. Again, thank you for taking the time out of your day to help and I hope you guys...
