You must have an incredibly huge tank to have a $25.00 difference between 87 and 91 octane. At 20 cents difference between 87 and 91 (at least where I live) your tank is 125 gallons.
I didn't read all the replies but I think UsedtobeChev (or something like that) nailed it when he said he always regretted not getting the higher optioned vehicle. I spend 12 to 14 hours a day on a motorcycle so even a windshield and an AM radio used to be luxurious to me but now Im spoiled...
Black does hide the contrasting features and is a nightmare to keep clean so of course I bought a black one. Its my fourth black vehicle in a row, so I know what I'm in for as far as upkeep but I actually do enjoy detailing cars (90 percent of the time) so its no huge deal.
The Raptor really...
It's a 17. Not sure why they sold it at MSRP. I was occasionally calling local dealers and they were all between 15 and 25 over. Yea, I know......
It was a 2 and a half hour trip to do 65 miles miles to the dealership (gotta love the traffic out here) but well worth it.
Thanks for all the...
Found a bought at MSRP in So Cal thanks to a PM from a member here (thanks again).
Black SCAB 802A pretty much everything but the orange interior accents. Couldn't be happier. They said only the black one at MSRP, didn't ask why because this one was more than fine to me.
Autonation Ford...
A member here PMd me about an MSRP deal down here in So. Cal. It was pretty close to what I would have ordered 802A, white SCREW, with std wheels (wanted the bead locks).
I called the dealer a few times over an hour or so going back and forth over some details however the last time I...
Finally drove a Gen 2 Raptor tonight. Wow, what a great truck!
I was completely impressed with its acceleration and road handling. Yes, I know it was designed for the dirt but in all honesty it may see the dirt 12 times a year and 8 of those times I'll have dirt bikes in the bed. It will be...
40 percent are V8s? Never would've thought it'd be that high. I have a v8 but in so cal it's mostly all v6s

Yea, Ford has really gone down the tubes with terrible...
I had (for a heartbeat) a Focus ST and I did the Ford tune. Outside of the Philippines or Korea it was the best money I ever spent.
It was around 500 installed and the results were amazing. IMHO I would never put a non Ford tune on. Keep it all Ford and have them do the work just for peace of...
Drive it. 5 years ago I purchased a 66 GT350 from outside Austin TX and drove it home to So Cal. It was an awesome way to get to know the car (it ran flawless the whole way)
I'll probably end up ordering a Raptor in the Dallas area when the time is right (fly there, pick it up, go to a...
That 40k markup on the GT was a win win for everyone. Legacy editions are bringing in nearly 400k now.
Granted, this doesn't happen much with American cars. The only other example I can quickly think of is the GNX
I was just there yesterday (great selection). I told them I would buy one today at MSRP. I think they told me 15K over initially. I explained that I was there for two days from the LA area and was not coming back anytime soon but would buy right now at MSRP.
They called me back the next...
