    RIP My 2022 Raptor....

I feel your pain! I had this occur on an F150 special order several years ago. As someone mentioned, your dealer should be able to work with Ford to prioritize your subsequent build. I had mine in, I think, six weeks. Which was considerably shorter than the initial build. Of course, this...

GEN 2 Occasional shudder at 80ish

Updating this thread. Took the truck in for oil change, tire rotation and alignment yesterday. They were unable to do the alignment citing “Left tie rods have play. Unable to determine inner or outer. Right outer tie rod has vertical play.“Truck has 17500 miles on it. Mostly babied. Suspect...

    KO2’s Falling Apart :(

At Raptor Assault in June, we did some crawling on shale. One of the instructors said each truck goes through 2-3 sets of tires each year as a result. Sounds like it's to be expected on sharp surfaces, at least with the factory sneakers.

GEN 2 Occasional shudder at 80ish

Nah, the opportunity didn't present itself. I watched a few videos on road force balancing, so had a notion of what kind of numbers to expect. So was surprised with what I got. I'm inclined to agree on your conclusion. I've heard good things about the next dealer down the road. I'll get...

Ha! You took the bait. :) When I put that on there I just *knew* someone would be that guy. It's all good.

I did - but the numbers I got back weren't what I was expecting. They were various values with existing weights, weights removed, then final numbers. All single digits before the work, then 0,0 after. Made me wonder if they really did a road force balance - but that's what was on the invoice...

GEN 2 Occasional shudder at 80ish

Yeah, windows up always. All my F150s have had a horrible resonance with the windows down at speed. I'll try the test you suggest. Thanks.

GEN 2 Occasional shudder at 80ish

Long post ahead - sorry. New 802a 2020 Raptor. Stock tires and wheels - not the bead lockers. Truck is 100% stock except for the radio antenna. I commute from Albuquerque to Santa Fe twice a week. Speed limit posted at 75, usually driving 80. The road is a mix of worn and new pavement. The...

    Sync 3.4 Update

For those who can't get the download to show in the Ford website, this is the download link that I was offered -- 5U5T-14G381-ED.zip My truck is a 2020 802a for whatever that may be worth noting. I have no opinion about whether this will work for the Sync 3.0 folks. Attempt at your own risk.

    Fordpass Rewards: 0 points?

Also - make sure they registered your truck with the correct email address. I did my deal online, and used a throwaway email address for my communications with the dealer. They used that email when they put through the paperwork to Ford. FordPass support was able to move the points over to...

    GEN 2 Gen 2 ending!

In late May while negotiating for my 2020, the dealer told me there would not be a 2021 Raptor. I couldn't find anything to substantiate that, so dismissed it as negotiations BS. But seeing an increasing number of discussions online with the same thing being said. If true, glad I bought mine...

    Greetings - and thank you

Lead foot didn’t talk to me at all. But I’ve always tilted towards brighter color cars. I blame it on my parents raising me at the drag races, surrounded by hot rods. ;-)

    Greetings - and thank you

Good morning, Checking in after spending the last week busily soaking up info from this forum. I have wanted a Raptor for years, but couldn't bring myself to pay the above MSRP prices that were common. I took another look at the scene this past week. Here in NM, the inventory is low, and...
