Replace all 4 tires which is a chore in and of itself 42x13.5R20. I upgraded the hydraulic steering ram to a larger one that could handle the larger tires, replaced the drag link bar as I had bent the old, replaced the ball joints with American Iron Ball Joint Deletes, install Metal Cloak full skid plate and few other things. It has turned into a lot bigger project than I expected and has been down for almost 6 months. Just can never seem to find the time to get out there and finish it.Nice JT. Looks pretty nice! What kind of rebuild you doing?
Nice! Time consuming work especially those beadlocks. I been eyeing some Ball Joint deletes for my superduty axles in my JK. What axles do you have? Still got the stock motor?Replace all 4 tires which is a chore in and of itself 42x13.5R20. I have 1 ton UD60 axles and it still has the stock motor but it is the 3.0L EcoDiesel so it has plenty of power.Nice! Time consuming work especially those beadlocks. I been eyeing some Ball Joint deletes for my superduty axles in my JK. What axles do you have? Still got the stock motor?
I could have guessed both of those. Haha. Where do you wheel at? Not much wheeling in Texas.I have 1 ton UD60 axles and it still has the stock motor but it is the 3.0L EcoDiesel so it has plenty of power.
Usually go to Wolf Caves, Hidden Falls Adventure Park or GSL Ranch. I have a trip planned in July to head out to the Rubicon Trail. I found this one and went and test drove it. Despite the high mileage it is in excellent condition. According to the carfax it had been maintained with regular oil changes, diff, transfer case and transmission services, coolant flushes, spark plugs recently changed all logged into carfax. Even had rust preventive coating applied to frame back in 2018 but it has been in TX it's whole life. It has 183K miles on it.I could have guessed both of those. Haha. Where do you wheel at? You find anymore Gen1 to look at?
a LOT of people buy used Raptors in the 150k mile range. Mine had just under that and I know 3-4 guys the same. Have had mine for 4-1/2 years now. Just getting to 185k. $25-$30k for around 185k miles. Give or take depending on whether stock or add-ons.Usually go to Wolf Caves, Hidden Falls Adventure Park or GSL Ranch.
