Ya, I realize that’s a downfall but 2 out of 3 days my truck is in a garage so I’m not too worried about recording while I’m away from the vehicle. I prefer not messing with fuse boxes and using the aux is the cleanest solution.
IIRC the parking mode kit paperwork said it will remain running all the time, not reduced power, until the vehicles battery reaches a preset (by a switch on the device) amperage so it doesn't drain it too low. This is at least the Garmin parking mode kit, no idea with others.
It’s nothing fancy but after racking my brain for months looking at 0 vs 6 vs 18 vs 25mm offsets I settled for a set of R take offs on my pour model. Got a decent price for all 5 which makes it convenient not having to source a spare or a brand new 5th tire.

Threw on some R wheels and tires today, seems like i dont need the tow ******** the spare with the 24 but i have it on for now anyways.
So I just did this and tried to rest the PCM DTC using reset transmission tables (thanks YouTube) instead of going though the relearn process in the as built screen area. I did the right thing and p160 went away. But, do I need to do something about that table relearn I messed up doing?
