I'd personally go with Fox (I did). Rumor is that for the Gen 2 the Fox factory 3.0s were supposed to be OE along with Deaver rear leafs. The FF 3.0s were literally designed and tested etc for our trucks. With that said, I know very little about ADS.

I am also researching the same. ADS is local to us in AZ making me consider options. Maybe I can stop by and learn a little bit about what makes them tick

Good luck installing that shock on the front of a baby bronco. I had a set of 3.0 King coilovers & bypasses on the front of a '96 bronco. They were only 10" stroke, and were mounted to an engine cage that almost scraped the hood. It looked like this:
