Thanks for letting us know. I'm really looking forward to it!

Have you found a way to use it for parking?

Seriously? For parking? If you need to see out the front of the truck via a camera rather than the windshield, you shouldn't be driving such a large vehicle.

I don't need it... It'd certainly be helpful, though.

Seems like everyone is so quick to start criticizing these days...

well Hell...
Sorry guy's, I was trying to post a short vid of the front camera, but I cant get it to accept it. I don't "need it" either! But it was an option that was offered. All of you who say "I don't need it" or "Really?" what ever! Trust me, if you had it... you would love it. Why not???:flipthebird:

Hey I'm with Humvee here. If you have a camera and don't use it because you think "If you need to see out the front of the truck via a camera rather than the windshield, you shouldn't be driving such a large vehicle" then that's just silly.

Snubbing advances in technology just doesn't make sense. I drive a big truck now and have parked it in some seriously tight spots and there have probably been a couple times where that front camera would have come in handy.

To each his own I guess... I'll use it if I think I need it and not feel the least bit guilty.. lol

What the **** are you talking about? I'm not criticizing anyone. I simply stated that, "If you need to see out the front of the truck via a camera rather than the windshield, you shouldn't be driving such a large vehicle."

Perhaps I should have said, "If you need additional technology such as a forward facing camera to park an oversized vehicle, of which, you can see more FOV out the windshield, then you should be driving something smaller, learn how to drive and park correctly or park away from other vehicles."

With the limited FOV on the camera, I'd be worried about some ******* opening their door, a child (most importantly) or some other scenario that if I'm locked-in on staring at a 7" screen rather than a damn 70" piece of clear glass in front of me, I'd miss.

I can completely understand the rear-view camera on a vehicle such as this and any vehicle, for that matter, since you do NOT have such an impressive FOV when it comes to that. You have trunks, head restraints and all sorts of shit blocking your view, not to mention traveling ******* backwards.

If you want criticism, I can give it to you. I think you're a valued member, so don't be a ****.

Ahh, at least someone get's it...

All of you who say "I don't need it" or "Really?" what ever! Trust me, if you had it... you would love it. Why not???:flipthebird:
With your 61 posts of infamy on this site, I surely hope that the :flipthebird: was because you were airing out your finger because you were digging in your ******* looking for more intelligent things to say.

How about adding something worthwhile to the site, or at least this thread. How about saying, "...it works in 4x4 LO only". How about saying, "I can see so much better through the screen than the windshield". How about saying, "The front camera is awesome because I have it and you don't".

Regarding your post, of course those that ordered the front camera and have a use or need for it are going to love it. Even those that don't have a use for it, like me, would love it because it's part of the truck. I'd probably use it as a "ooh aah" thing after a couple of beers with the buddies.

Your post sucks.

Not trying to be a **** at all. If it seemed that way, I apologize. I agree that if you need the front camera then you should be driving a smaller vehicle. However, I was just trying to argue the fact that I am fully capable of driving a Raptor or any other monstrous vehicle. The sole purpose of a camera on the exterior of an automobile should be to help/improve the driver's visibility, and this is exactly how I intended to use it. It's not something that I'd rely on fully but only as a tool to help/improve visibility. Shit, we have rear cameras on 2 of 5 cars in the house and I rarely use them.
