Wtf?

Hey guys
I gave the undercarriage of my truck a little "hows your father" ( austin powers referance) today please tell me what i just found? here is a pic. Its rubber mounted between the top of the frame rail and the bed at the rear of the drivers side leaf spring. Also I didn't get a pic but I found after I lowered the spare tire there is an approx 3" black box on top of one off the frame rails.
any body know what these items are on my 2010 rap? Thanks

That would be the dinkle reinforcing plate to keep your shaft from getting kabobbled.

That's actually a vibration dampener. Mine was loose on my Scab when I bought it and I had to take it in to get it fixed. They had to pull off the bed to get to the bolt that's on the top side of it.

It should flop and move around a little bit if it's on there correctly, but mounted between rubber bushings so you don't hear it.

The vibration dampener was flopping around in your bed?
I think that was too muc info for all of us :shocked:
