Just did the raptor. I have done this on all my other vehicles, keeps bugs & stuff out so the vanes and radiators work longer.
Cost: approx $7 for fiberglass screen & zipties at the home despot
Time: approx 15min
Weight: couple of grams?

Hey somebody else that does this. Its nice because the bugs spray off easily and the fiberglass screen doesn't heat up

Yeah I need to do this. Just got back from a fishing trip and the radiator was completely covered in dead bugs. Great idea. Thanks

I'm wondering, could you put this same kind of thing on the inside of the grille instead of over the radiator and get the same effect? That'd be a cleaner solution. At least as far as how the engine bay looks when you open the hood. I may try this out though.
