edit: it's a trailer special f150

it has some rust and dings if any one is interested I can take better pic's. I have know idea what to ask for it so if I'm giving it away give me more lol. 5k is way too much so talk me down but I don't know how many camper special's they made. head gasket went out this was before e-30 or it would probably still be going. 400 engine not original. if I've missed something let me know.

Hey Wilson I'm interested!!!

Need more info though:

Shoot me a PM with all the options on it.

Want to know things like:
Also how much rust and where?
Any body damage thats major and where?
Do you know what the original motor was and is the 400 in it now a Big block or small block?
Is the tranny in it a auto or a 4 speed and if its an auto is it a C6?
F-250,350?
Factory air?
Transfer case I'm sure it is the 205NP?
Axles dana 60's?
Did your family own it since day one?

I'm not very familiar with a camper special so i'll have to do some looking, but I know my 78/79 ford kinda haha.

Noah it's worth a lot to me lol.

I'll be taking more pic's it was bought by my uncle with very low miles I remember driving threw snow to go sledding he stopped in a big drift lol. every one else at the time only had 2 wheel drive. I bought it from him I think I have the owners manual but not positive have a bunch of papers he keept all what he did to it I just have to find where I put it, wheels he took off and the back window he put in a sliding. It was the 400 and it's automatic I'll have to look and get the vin should tell us all we need to know.

I like them 2 pic's better it's hiding all the rust. It's a trailer special not a camper special. 1979 Ranger F150 lariat trailer special. Thinking about it it's been sitting there about 8 years time flies. the oldest daughter and I took it ice fishing a lot. she was 5-6 when I parked it.

I see so its an F-150.... does it have the coil springs up front rather than the leaf springs?
Between the F-150 and the 250/350 that is an easy way to tell the difference. I don't know if the trailer special switched these out to heavier duty due to this special. Really looking for a 250/350, but would sure think about it if it had leafs in the front rather than coils.

I know for sure the rear has leaf and coil but I think the front is just coil I'll go look.

ok it's got some huge coils and traction bars and sway bars and two shocks on both sides of the coils and some type of hydraulic looking shock on the front where it would help keep the steering wheel from shimming. some of this should show in the pics if they go threw.

be prepared to laugh the pic's should be about all to you.
