Most offroad vehicles can typically go up to the hood. Once you get water cresting the hood, good chance of hydrolocking the engine = game over.

Too deep! That truck is in water that is too deep. And it's not just the motor/intake that's at risk. The transmission, differential and rear axle all will likely have water in them. RTFM!

The water in the front of the truck looks "Photo-shopped" to me. Look at the water level by the rear fender flare. If he was plowing through the water, wouldn't the shape curve the other way?
