Food for thought. Really getting excited about the new Raptor. He says the new engine 'blows away' the old V8 at 1:27:

That's just some friendly hyperbole and obviously not meant to be literal.. a gt-r blows a raptor away, 40 or 50 hp on a 3ton truck will make a negligible difference at most. For sure close enough driver error would play a part.

We've seen the video. Of course Jamal is going to talk up the engine. He works for Ford and they give him a paycheck. He would be stupid not to talk it up. Think no one is doubting the specs on the new engine, but is it what people who off-road want? We really won't know for sure until its release and people start taking them to the heat of the desert and give feedback on real results. All the talk now is just hearsay.

I do like the new heavy duty frame just for the raptor. :challenge:

Are you this bored with yourself that you have dedicated the entire week to trolling the **** out of the Gen 2 boards? Kinda feel bad for you man.

Do you not have the "power" to do something about it?

Well its never been our style to be ban happy. That being said, a scenario such as this is typically in the hands of our feather plucking leader.

Agreed I say if @Randy M can handle himself and doesn't cry foul, no reason not to let him rag on the guys who are getting butthurt about the shit he posts.

#safespace I don't like what he's saying shut him down

Rick I don't care how strong the new frame is, our incidents would have proved it wasn't LOL.

Love how he and others hype up the "useable low end torque" of the ecoboost. Who cares haha. I say this for a 2 reasons, the 6.2 makes plenty down low. Second and most importantly, if you're doing desert style offroading (which the Raptor is supposed to be designed for) you will have you want your peak torque higher up in the power band where you spend most of your time. I rarely drop the RPMS below 3500 on runs.

but the new raptor is meant to be an all around vehicle now including rock crawling. my question is is it smaller? all around now looks like it.
