I had a Mishimoto catch can leftover from my Evo when that went to a custom one.

I installed this on my truck one week ago, and have driven 270 miles in 0-15 degree weather. 75 or so was spirited driving in the snow we got last week before the plows were out.

It's only a couple table spoons worth or so, but, was only 270 miles of driving.

This is the cheapo one, it is not baffled. I'm going to get a baffle made for it when a buddy has free time at work, same with a better looking bracket.

I did this mostly out of curiosity, now it's staying for sure.

I'll add pics of it installed later today. I'm waiting for paint to dry before I put it back in the truck.

What came out:

Drain I added:

I was debating using Push-loc hose and fittings, but, I'm not willing to spend $100 on fittings and hose just to make it pretty, when this works exactly the same. The Gates hose will hold up to everything that should be going through it.

It's easier. I found that the plug would seize to the can and you'd have to really crank on it to remove the plug. As long as it's warm(the contents) the little needle valve works fine.

I can prop a cup up on the bracket/shock mount and it's held in place with the hose off of the valve so I could just open it and walk away.

I just noticed, the stuff that came out of it mostly froze when left to sit in the garage.

Drained it again after a month of as normal of driving as I do. Only one weekend of high rpm driving on an ice track, very limited driving below 10 degree temps.

After it settled, it was about 50% moisture/50% oil. This catch can is still unbaffled, I've not got around to making one yet.
