Do you see performance gains between the headers with x pipe "true dual" setup and the headers with y pipe
You'll typically see the X pipe / true dual design show its stuff at higher RPMs. When the exhaust pulses from each cylinder bank pass through the X pipe, there is a siphoning effect that further helps to scavenge exhaust gasses from the cylinders. As the revs climb, the exhaust pulses from each cylinder bank get closer together and will start fighting each other for real estate with a single exit or Y pipe design. With a more complete emptying of the cylinders it allows the engine to take a deeper breath, so to speak, to create more power.
Typically the long tube headers themselves will promote better scavenging down low and exhausting the gasses through even a restrictive Y pipe isn't a problem. When the revs start climbing you would likely notice a measurable yet relatively modest increase in power with the X pipe / true duals. The SW headers themselves are the biggest piece of the puzzle for adding power. X pipe, Y pipe or H pipe after that will each hold its own benefit and effect on the final exhaust tone. The X pipe is generally believed to reduce cabin drone and the Stainless Works 3" true dual exhaust will handle HP numbers most Raptor owners can only dream of.
