2014 Map Update for $149 - for non "MFT" systems

I'm sure most of us already received this notice.

But just in case,
I've been holding out for a discount for 4 years now, (I own a 2010 1/2)
I refuse to pay $199 plus shipping and tax for a map update.

It's now $149 with free shipping coupon code: FLM-DM-C-0514
There is tax though, I paid $13.22 tax, so the total was $162.22

Hmmm.

Garmin, $125 NAV - Free updates for Life

Ford, $2,000 NAV - Charges $150 for updates every 2-3 years.

LOL, yeah but have you paid attention to some of the cars out there now.

Between:
EZ-Pass, Radar Detector, Mobile Phone on the windshield, Garmin or other cheap Nav system, OBD11 screen for people who need to see boost.
there's not much viewing for driving any more.
And then the Bluetooth ear piece glowing off the head just makes me laugh.

And to point out it's not $2000 for just the Ford Nav it's the whole Radio system.

I still think that it should be a supported service with a new vehicle including map updates. It's not like we cheaped out buying a vehicle from Ford, its the least they could do at least under the factory warranty.

On my 2013, it's an SD card that goes into the center console.

Instructions are on the website in .pdf format for all vehicles.

And will come with the updated package as well. For CD/DVD and SD cards.
