We had a great group of trucks:
@t_j
@Kmandoske
@13raptorcrew
@Jimbo
@fingermalone
@Crikk
@Rico'14
@poke27
@ironside
@mnblly
The trails where a great mix of tight single track, even tighter single track, fire roads, snow covered versions of the aforementioned trails and a small amount of pavement between sections of trail.
Unfortunately @Big Blue did not make it as he got ill (all exit stomach bug) a few days before the trip.
Please don't post pictures of damaged trucks without the owner's consent.
Lessons learnt:
* @mnblly needs to leave more room between him and the truck in front and install some fender liners or screen over his intake
* Make sure that someone else brings a chainsaw if the person bringing it does not make it.
* Make sure the first few trucks have a couple of people in them to help clear trees
* Rotate out the lead truck more often so they don't get over tired from stopping and clearing the trail
* Don't switch out to summer washer fluid in the early stages of spring
As for the minor carnage:
* Another broken mudflap
* Some broken trailer connectors
* A broken VHF antenna
Other carnage to be reported by the trucks owners.
One very close call and amazing save by @mnblly:
Some of the tighter trails:
Photo credits go to @Crikk for both of those.
