From someone who works at a dealer,
mileage is something Ford(and most if not all brands) usually require when looking into any sort of customer service. I can't make an R.O. without mileage being entered first relevant to the issue or not.
Being a tad rude to someone who's sole purpose on this forum is to assist and to add to that assist to a matter that isn't yours.

My concern was that mileage had no correlation to the issue at question. So, I saw no reason to request that information. He responded and didn't answer in detail to clarify his request, like you did above. You can call it rude if you'd like but whether or not the issue is mine I will be watching out for others and question shit I don't like.
