I thought I've noticed more Raptor's than usual in the past year up here, one of them being a black screw. I'm in Houghton but drive a lot between here and Marquette.I live in the small town of l'anse on keweenaw bay. I've lived in the area all my life. The snow we had last year during the snoball 500 wasn't much compared to this year.In houghton and and to the north has recieved 90 inches of snow to date already. I've been lookin into moving the front springs to the mid perch. I read somewhere that this was actually where the shock was designed to work best, but ford wanted a lower ride height. I'm also planning on building a prerunner type bumper/light bar for the front. Otherwise, keepin it pretty much stock. Sorry to hear about the loss of a fellow raptor owner. also sad to hear there's a limit to the number of entries in the snoball 500.Hope to see ya's passin through and enjoyin a little bit of our back yard.
And to think this time last year we didn't even have 40 inches yet, and the base on the ground wasn't anywhere near as deep for Snoball last year as it is right now. Needless to say, there is going to be a lot more snow for Snoball this year than last year.
