Lol, guys are paying unheard of prices for bumpers ($1500-3000), LEDs ($500-2000) and won't shell out $200-400 for an ice chest. BFD, Just get one. Lol.

I kinda felt like some of you guys...just thought it was ridiculous to spend that kind of money for an ice chest. I finally did get one, a used one off of a bayliner, guy sold the boat, asked me if I wanted it cheap, and I bought it to store ice at partys. I left ice in it after a halloween party last year, temps in the 80s for about 8 days, and forgot I left 4 ice bags in it. It had about half of the ice left still, 8 days later. (It was in the shade though)

Still, I have bought dozens of ice chests, and the Yetis are better because you buy them once, and they dont fall apart or degrade like others do.

Anyone else bought the Coleman stainless when it came out 10 years ago? Mine is on its last leg, but I bet my Yetis are going strong after 10 years...they really are indestructible.

+1 what Dub said. I've had my Raptor for going on three years. In that time I have destroyed 4 coolers. No joke.

Then I got a Yeti and haven't looked back since. Its been with me on five trips, one of those being Trey's Texas Raptor Run '12, and it barely shows a scratch.

And +1 also on its unreal ability to keep stuff cold. The first time I used it I went with straight dry ice... everything, and I mean EVERYFRICKINGTHING, was frozen rock solid for a week. Talk about a bummer when your camp is set up 30 miles away from everyone and everything, and you aint got no food 'cause its all frozen. Oops!

Since then I've figured out that one block of dry ice covered with a 20lber of regular ice keeps things ice cold without freezing for over a week; the dry ice freezes the regular ice, which keeps the food cold. If you need a "freezer" section, use a piece of cardboard like a wall, on top of the dry ice and blocking off an area from the regular ice, then put your frozen stuff on that side. Works like a charm.

Due to timing I wasn't able to get mine from Trey. Wish I had. This is definitely one of those things where 'don't knock it till you try it' is exactly right.

I'm just debating which size to get then I'm gonna order a white one. I like the desert tan better, but white will match the truck.
:hmmm2:

One of my cousins in Austin can also get a big discount on these so I'll have to see who can swing a better deal... Coincidentally his name is Trey too.

Yo Bojangles.. PM sent on this Austin cousin.

Yeah guys, check with Trey on pricing, cause i'm not sure my Cousin can get me more than 1 or 2, whereas Trey can meet everyone's needs. Plus I'm not even sure my Cous will be able to beat Trey's price anyway.
