Jinks7 has been banned but I have gotten a few reports in the last week about scams like this and have said before to all members; Never trust or buy anything from a member that has 0 posts.

This happens on all forums, anyone with a WTB ad will get them and its pretty obvious if you just look at the message. I've gotten 3 or 4 here last few weeks

Yep, unfortunately there will always be scumbags crawling around. The smarter ones will have different IP's to try to keep going back to where they were banned from.

I agree with all the comments mentioned. And I have no problem showing the egg on my face for letting my guard down and trusting a name on the computer without taking precautions for a brief instance. And maybe help some of the newbs here who may not have heard of this scam method used by scum sucking enema bags like Jinks7.

I was a mod for quite a while on a large sport bike racing forum. It was a great group like in here, but every now and then a scumbag would sneak in and pull crap like this. He would get banned and many times show up a month or two later with a different IP address and try it again. I personally tracked one down an hour from my house and got some compensation for a member that got burned. One of our mods was an active duty Cyber-security specialist in the military. He could get a mind blowing amount of info on someone with a quick deep dive on some ***** when necessary. We had about 250,000 active members at the time, so it's hard to catch everything. It's a tough job to keep everything clean for the members.
