Rcv or custom joint replacement on stock shafta is the cheaper alternative if you know a good cv place.
I went trail riding on the truck past weekend 4 ft of snow and sinking muskeg trying to finally break my old cvs , got 2 new ones in box. Sunk the truck almost to the drivers side mirror, had to hop out of my sunroof , 2nd time this happended. Luckily the guy with me had a winch and tree anchors got out not even with a sweat.

Guys getting bed racks built by WSI NEED to check the bed bolts first. I'm having troubles removing mine.
Best to be safe then sorry.

You need to get them hot to loosen the locktite. Just 30 seconds or so, let tthem set for 30 more to allow the heat to get to the locktite they will them come loose

Too late on the left side. Was able to finally take a peak at the nut through the frame and it was all rusted to shit. Nut basically broke away from the clip.
Now I have to cut the bolt off and lift the bed to put in a new nut/clip whatever there called back in.

Just putting it out there - I'm running stock. This truck is my daily driver and I put on about 3,000 miles a month in the U.P. so I don't have the desire to make an animal out of it. I have plenty of things I want to do, but they're largely cosmetic and wouldn't really impact the truck's capability for the run. Heck, I'd jump on Bird's bumper if I was closer because my #1 concern up here is the damn deer.

In addition I can't really make the truck any higher or wider because it won't fit thru my garage door plus I have a lot of extra BS I'm dealing with from the ex-hub so my raptor fund is tentatively being held in the name of nailing ex-hub's balls to the wall.

Have I mentioned divorce is a blessing?!?! /rant

Marriage is commitment..... But divorce is LIBERATION!!!!!!!!
