I'll have a couple extra 5gal Scribner Jugs strapped in the bed, but I see your point about the 5 gallons. I think the best way to put it is that if everyone is carrying an extra 5 in theory there should be enough extra fuel in the group to keep pretty much anyone going.

With the route I have planned its basically just for insurance. We should have zero problems making it to gas stations. Day one we should all fill up before the run and in Ishpeming.

Day 2 we should all fill up before and in Octonogon. That will get us all the way there.

But there are little towns with gas stations if we have to use those as well.

Maybe the SCrew guys can bring extra gas and sell it to us SCab guys. LOL

I'll be bringing more than 5 gallons as well for the just incase. I hope they remain full.

Well to the lucky winner of the WSI race rack, that person will be able to securely carry an additional 18 gallons of fuel!

But we are going to give that away after correct?

I guess if your bringing it someone is going to have it in there truck.

Dang, this is smack dab in the middle of a Sportsman show I will be attending with my trailer. Already have the booth and everything.

Can't wait to see pictures and hopefully it is a success so I can block the time off next year.

I figured I would leave it at Jason's house, seeing as I would be there installing his bumper, anyways! Nudge! Guy who wins would just snag it from there? Seeing as statistically it will be someone from around there. Don't want to lug two around!

Unless i need to bring 2 up, who wants one? Special price for snoballerz!

:lol2:

We'll see on the bumper. :)

The problem with bringing it up and someone else taking it home what would they do with the tailgate? I'm assuming it replaces the tail gate? I'm sure we can easily find someone to bring it during the run, but would have to find a way to swap it out in the sub zero tempatures of the UP.

We can talk about it and figure it out. If a someone from Wisconsin won it then it could be a 10 hour drive for them. My thoughts is it maybe should be there at the closing event.

No it doesnt replace tailgate, in fact you can use it under a toneau cover and inside the tailgate, as long as you leave the spare under the truck.
