dont really know if top perch was the cause of my off trail excursion. or being i havent driven in snow for 30 years. all i know is it was a real blast. i loved it. michigan is awesome and the raptor is right at home there. did not have to break out the tool kit once. 4000 miles did not use a drop of oil. i think my whole problem with the off trail excursion was just me. lots of ice and overdriving the truck. jack.

oh and sorry joe about getting disconnected from the group the second day. was waiting at the staging area and jason said to just go with group 3. i think it was a nice experience. got to see wsi in action and squatting dog do his thing. as i have said before what a great bunch of people.

Jack, it was a pleasure to meet you in person. Thanks for the drinks.
I hear watching WSI drive is quite the experience. I followed him a bit on the pre run while he drove Mark's truck, I can only imagine him in his green beast.

Keep us updated on those axles.

It was good running with yeah!

BTW, I mentioned this to the Chicago crew on our drive home and wanted to share the same with you guys for next years Snoball.

One of the best items I brought (which was not on the required or recommended list), was a pair of yellow lense shooting glasses.

They made a Huge difference in the frequent white-out conditions we encountered. :favorites13:

Thanks to everyone for a great run. Had a blast. Just a question for anyone. Which radios were you using and did you find one that worked the best?

The wouxun that Trey sells and add external roof antenna seemed to perform the best for the money. (I got an extra for sale).

Also, the guys running the icoms did exceptionally well, but more pricey.

Just kidding, I'll just try and find them again on Ebay or something :favorites37:
