I hear there's only like 8 hours of daylight up there in January... So it's a SUPER SAFE bet that we'll be running many miles in darkness! No way we'll be knocking out 250+ miles in 8 hours...

I can't wait.

Christmas came early today. Who'd a thunk it that M&R could ship something from California at 5PM local time and it would be in Northern Illinois less than 2 days later! My wife is quite pissed, but today my M&R 20" bar showed up! I hope to put it on this weekend, and fake some surprise when I open an empty box on the 25th!

I agree 100% I have owned and driven in many sets...Crunchy or wet snow they will rock and roll..powder or ice..Not so much...That lug is just to big..
I wonder how a set would do if you sepet (spell) them..

Siping.
I thought about doing mine, but there's so little surface area on top of the lug that it'd be of little benefit, and they'd "chunk" quickly.

Unfortunately there really is no magic snow tire, there's too many different types of snow conditions.
Best all arounder I've used is any generic mud terrain design that had pockets for studs. If I were going on this, that's what I'd run. The studs are hardly noticeable to anyone unless they know what they're looking for.
The average police officer likely wouldn't notice.
They make a huge difference on the trails and backroads though.

These have a great review... I sure wish they made em big enough for the Raptor cause I would try a set for sure...
