Bump for new news. Need to find the pack that is more function than lift, doesn't stiffen the ride to much more than OE but balances keeping the ass firm when needed on the rough stuff but cush on the road bumps. Without any weight in the bed. I wont be running a bump stop "upgrade", or "drop shackle". Will be going with SDHQ's buck 85 bump stop mount though. Any opinions? I think +3's are out.
After reading a compelling thread on springs, I am strongly considering WSI's. But I'm a bit reluctant based on the information provided regarding the heavy maintenance factor. I realize there have been no posts," that I know of anyway", that the WSI springs have this affliction. That said, there are probably less than 20% of them reported around the forum. By the law of averages this would indicate the probability of the same tendency if the numbers were turned around.
I might just wait a bit longer on this?

Leaning to RPG's progressive nationals.

I went with the WSI HD springs and a $50 adjustable shackle set at 1" drop. It sits it at just barely above stock height. I also went with the $85 SDHQ bump pads. I love the way they ride with weight and without. Smoother than stock and no more shutter and it rarely gets axle wrap now. I haven't done any hard Offroad but the light stuff I've done it feels way better and much more planted.

Thanks Nick. And also being in the northeast our paved roads are similar. ******. lol..So you did pull the OE 2" block out to accommodate the shackle? I'm thinking more along the lines of using the 1-1.5" lift I get from the spring pack. With the added lift I'll get up front from the Geiser springs, after settling,"Which I expect with 50% of my driving on dirt roads", it will be similar to stock front and rear only higher to accept 37's should I decide to go bigger.

Yes our roads are complete crap LoL

I pulled the block out. The block has the bump pad attached to it that's why u need the SDHQ bump pads if u dont do a bump stop kit. with the WSI HD springs and a 1" drop with the shackles it sits me just barely taller than stock. So if u went with the stock shackles it should sit u higher and would be better for 37's I would think. I am interested in putting the stock shackle back in. I actually thought the rear would sit a little higher than it does.

Great info here. I'm planning the exact something. Debating on Atlas or WSI... Leaning WSI due to Jimmy being a great guy, but Atlas are several hundred cheaper.

A good point made Nick. One huge benefit from the forum is good information directly from "the family" here. If there was a vendor on site that was trying to sell a product that was all show no go priced well, enough FRF folks would weed them out quick simply by using the product. The old saying you get what you pay for is a fact when talking a tank for a truck getting near worx truck treatment. And excellent customer service from DIRECT application knowledge is priceless. And we have the luxury of choosing from a few of them. Gotta love the U S of A baby.

Hey Nick, are you running the drop shackles? If so what size tires? I'm wondering about issues with 37's if you've got drop shackles? Anyone else running this set up? HD or +3 s springs with drop shackles and 37's?

Yes I am at a 1" drop I believe but that still had me sitting slightly taller than stock. I am running the OEM tires still unfortunately.
