Ordered a Flowmaster Cat back exhaust for My 2013 Ford Raptor and they shipped a 3" kit : Flowmaster Stainless Steel Force II Exhaust Systems 817509 - SummitRacing.com
as it says it fits a 6.2L (just not the raptor, connection is 3" vs 3 1/2")
We can make it work useing the Factory resinator but I was curious If I will be sacrificing power ?? or is it not that big of a deal having 3" vs 3 1/2" Pipes
the Correct Flowmaster Kit is 3 1/2 " diameter.

We cant return it as the shop we ordered from cuts us a deal.
Thanks, Tina

Bigger piping makes you loose low end torque, but it gives a little more HP. Wont be noticeable in 1/2". I say just put the 3" system on since youve got it. Unless there is a price difference, and u got charged the 3 1/2" price. Then work out the return details. Also just lose the resonator, You'll be much happier with sound:rocking:

On a side note, Where in WI are you located?

Thanks for the info.!!!!...Just wanted to make sure it wasn't gonna mess anything up power / tune wise.
Yes the 13' has a 3" Exhaust, The problem we ran into was it has a
3 1/2" or 4" flange so we kinda have to use the resonator for the flange to match up :-/

we did not get charged for the 31/2" exhaust :)
Im In the Waukesha/Mukwonago area
Thanks again, Tina

Is it duel? I just ask because that is what SW is duel 3" all the way back from headers. When you get it on don't forget the video!

No, Its single 3" in and out thats why I was wondering If 3" single would hurt it as the Stock Piping is Dual 3" after muffler, In my first post is the link to the kit.

Yes it will be restricted, but it will sound cool. Should have all kinds of off the line power if you have the limiter on shouldn't matter on top end. Now mpg will suffer a bit any time you plug or slow air flow intake or out let it will do that.

hmmmmm , see thats what I thought made no sense to me to go from 2 -3"pipes after muffler to 1- 3 1/2" .....decisions decisions..last thing i want to do is hinder it...My vert, Cobra and Lightning all have bigger exhausts so I dont want to go backwards with this setup.
Thanks again for all the input :-D
