The hood is the way to go, I really like the lines you followed with it. I think the roof will be cool too, I'm just not sold on the gate.
It did get me to thinking about my white 1969 Mach1, which had the factory flat black hood. I guess thinking back to that scheme, if it were me, I would stick with the hood alone, which I am now considering thanks to you, and call it good.

It'll be interesting to see where you end up with this one.

I can see how one might get that feeling driving it, but it's merely a placebo. You won't actually experience any measurable benefit in acceleration unless the paint is actually black.

I don't know... black is black

Yeah, I'm not totally sold yet on the tailgate either, but I'm doing my best to reserve judgement until more work is done. Right now it does look a bit out of place, but I think more black will help with that.

Other possibilities I'm considering include wrapping the entire truck in Matte Black, or wrapping the remaining body panels in Matte White or maybe even a Flat Sand color if I wanted to get real crazy.

Ya baby, wrap that shit up in black. Hey, it might even look bigger.

I'm thinking of going this route with my Raptor.Jalopnik - Drive Free or Die

Duct tape is fairly inexpensive too.

I make hood wraps for much less if anyone didn't already know that but the 2 tone looks great on the white trucks. Sorry for the plug :) rappygraphics.com

Let me know if you want to do any coloring into the badges. Maybe reflective white or black would be a nice touch. Truck looks great though
