I've got a black '12 SCrew. I've been procrastinating on getting the driver's side door repainted at the dealer after it got scratched (down to the primer) at the AFC Championship. Then today the f'ing wind blew the passenger side door inot a rusty street sign post and that's even worse than the driver's side scratch.

The dealer quoted me $480 for the driver's side so with the new issue I'll be up to $960. Given that I'm not in love with black anymore I'm wondering if anyone up in the Northeast can give me an idea of what they've paid for a full body 3M wrap.

Thanks!

Andy

Ha! If only. It was my buddy who scratched it at the game opening his bro's Raptor's door into mine. That one I actually have been able to live with the last couple of months. The one today is egregious.

This brings up one of my biggest gripes with this truck- The stupid assinine door detents. Either 20" open (useless) or a door-crushing 51" open! Drives me freakin crazy. I would love to choke the crap out of the engineer who designed it.:shakehead:

At that kind of money for a wrap I would just get it painted but make sure your truly happy with the color choice. Best bet is to go see it on a truck or car in person then get the paint code... I really want to paint my white scab a different color that they don't have for fords to make it different than every ore truck but not obnoxious lol

I would say wrap Because it will save ur paint job and being limited production I assume it will b collectible and people will want original paint.

If you can feel the scratch with your finger nail, there is a good chance it will show through a wrap. It would need to be sanded or filled first.
