I think I might copy this build and wrap, almost exactly, if I pick up a terrain Raptor to replace my 2002 F250 (currenty in the shop). I'm looking at one of the terrain Raptors listed on this forum's classifieds. I like this wrap the best for this color. Otherwise a FDE color was my next consideration, but true FDE is likely too close to grey on the fenders - FDE is almost a grey/brown color.

That looks really nice!
I have had trouble finding anyone local that can offer a wrap of that quality.
I gave up and decided to wait until the paint is too ugly. Maybe by then someone nearby will have popped up.

FDE should look nothing like the fender flares, as it not even close to being grey. I can't help but think that the difference between terrain and FDE is in the clear coat somehow. I bet a expel/clear matte film would bring out the FDE-ness.

I "love" the SCAR's multi shade FDE. That's partially what's kept me from going with a SCAR, and it shouldn't. It's such a good shooting platform.

I was thinking some FDE I've seen has a hint of grey, particularly when put next to tan. But perhaps not.

You know, you're right in that there isn't one specific FDE, and now that I think about it some do have a little grey, and some have a little green too I suppose. I typically first think of magpul FDE, which looks very brown to me, and lacking the other shades that FNH uses.
