I should at least try some sealant, glaze, and wax.

Mud it's awesome. Here's a comparison pic. Before is after a weekend of off roading, pressure spraying at the car wash, the driving through a touchless wash. We then took the wheels off and washed it head to toe. The After is after treating it to some Adams love.
