I completely understand guys. Didn't mean to offend any paying site vendors but was just trying to help out! Newer member and all but I just ordered my 2013 at the beginning of the year! (hence why I am a new member... HA)

I think we are missing the point of why this was an issue. It was not that you "offended site vendors". That has little to nothing to do with it. The fact is, forums are plagued daily with spammers and scammers looking to take advantage of the members. So when a new guy shows up, brand new to the site and begins offering group buys, etc without the knowledge of the company that they are offering such "great deals" for, it is suspicious at best. There are members that are not site vendors who help other members with group buys all the time on Shaggy's forums and no one really gives it a second thought because those members can verify their intentions and have been around a while. Quite honestly, I am actually surprised that the mods let a new member go as far as they let you go offering this in the first place because of the rules against non vendors selling on the forum, even offering to "PM ME FOR A GREAT DEAL"

Does it bother me? Yes, it does. I was asked to be a vendor here and all of us legitimate vendors pay a premium to be vendors here to have the right to do so, so yeah, when some newby begins offering "Below MAP" or whatever the case may be simply because "They know a guy" at a "shop" near them willing to slide products out the back door to them. Yeah, it's an issue that will get you some attention in a hurry.

With that said. I have decided to bow out of this thread and simply say that I am going to create a new sale starting within the next day (Once I put it all together) that provides an easy to keep up with a legitimate forum member discount on exhaust systems in general so that those that want them can get them without being concerned about the source. This sale will run for thirty days from the announcement. So stay tuned and watch for it....

Very well put.
This has been my pm's with Venomns explaining the dangers and what caused the Red flags. I'm here to "Protect" ALL members
and to make sure that this sort of thing does not happen to any of our members including Venomns.
I also made him aware of our site rules which I'm sure many in the past have not read as well and he knows them now.
I do apologize for not seeing it sooner but I can only be in so many places at once and I do thank the members who brought it to my attention.
Further more I do thank Venomns for understanding our concerns and I wish him Congrats on his new Raptor purchase.
This is why we are here and hopefully we can get to know him better cause he seems like the person who wants to help and be helped.

Anyways, back on topic and party on! :head3:

Look forward to your sale thread clkelley.
Am sure if I didn't already own a new exhaust I'd be all over it. lol

Just saw this thread. I've been eyeballing the full SW package for awhile now. Headers and lightning exit exhaust would be bad ass! The price is right so count me in.

I was looking at doing these at Livernois in June along with cams and a whipple, but my mod bill for the year is starting to get a little steep so that might have to wait for next year... Hahaha.

I'm considering having them install and do a custom dyno tune however. Would that be worth it considering I'll likely be doing cams and a supercharger down the road and that would require an additional dyno tune? Would I be better off with a local install and a programmer for the time being?

Looking forward to your sale!

Saw a pic of the SW exhaust today and it had twin mufflers - is that right or was it wrong pic ?

I think I'm going to go Corsa. I really like the Borlaug but not fit $200 more

SW lightning is one muffler. SW turbo or S-Type muffler is twin setup.

If you are going to install a full setup with headers then I would definitely tune it when they are installed. Actual dyno tuning may not be necessary, but you will kick yourself for not tuning with a full exhaust upgrade like that. There are several reputable tuners throughout the country, if you don't or cannot go with Wilson's recommendation for whatever reason, I can help you with getting your hands on tunes from Mike at 5Star when you order the exhaust.

Wilson was right about the kits and mufflers, the kit with the dual mufflers is a "true dual" type of setup. Not to be mistaken with their high flow cats that come with their headers.

I will have the new sale announced this evening, I have a few things to iron out before announcing it.

you def want to tune with headers,

throttle response, everything will be so much better with the drive by wire as well

not to mention the transmission tuning

not just customers, but driving my personal one, i can tell you, it's night and day difference

Just so everyone is aware and up to date. I almost have ALL of the brands and pricing ready, but I am making sure that all the kits are loaded into my online store before announcing the sale. I am working on doing that as we speak and MAY be able to make the announcement this evening (which is my goal). Please bare with me for just a bit as I handle all of my own website design, etc. I am also kind of **** when it comes to making sure that everything looks and functions a certain way. Once done I will announce the sale in a separate thread and then link to it here for everyone's convenience.

One last thing, I am setting the sale discount at a certain percentage to start with and if orders get to a certain number for any given brand then I can negotiate better pricing on that particular brand. If that happens then those that place their orders at the starter discount will receive a rebate from me for the difference so that no one misses out on better pricing that may become available due to the volume of orders.

Thanks again for your patience and consideration.
