I noticed that I couldn't find a "how to" guide on removing the wiper cowls for the Raptor, so I figured I would do one while I installed lighting in them.
First step is removing the tab clips on each side of the truck, there's two total. Just pull up on them and they'll pop out.

Next you need to find the clips on the front inside the engine bay and use your tool to press in and pull up on the cowl to disengage the clip, there's 3 total.

After that's done there are 2 pressure clips inside the cowl towards the windshield to disengage, simply use your pry tool and pull straight up.

Next is wiper removal. This step can be done any time really. There's a little lever on the bottom of the wiper, pull it out to the side while pulling up on the wiper base, it should easily pop right out. Be careful not to lose the metal pin that sits inside the hollow base of the wiper.

All you need to do now is to disconnect the wiper fluid hose and then you can pull the cowl right out. I placed 1 12" waterproof flex LED in each side of the cowl vent.

I'm not happy with my placement on the left side, it's being blocked by the wiper motor so I'm going to redo that one. Other than that I'm pretty satisfied with it.

Did you happen to see the hvac intake location?

No I didn't. On the passenger side after I removed the cowl I noticed it isn't open like it is on the drivers side, there's another panel that needs to be removed. My guess is that it's under that panel.
