I would spring for an extra twenty to get a camera-specific one. Then it's just a stick-on and wouldn't have to remove bezel, right? Not personally planning on painting bezel

I can look into that. I am currently working on different displacements as well. I have "5.0L", "5.4L","6.4L", "6.6L", "6.2L SUPERCHARGED", and others. I can also do custom Raptor style badges like this "HONEY" custom badge.

That is correct. You would break off the factory oval, clean the surface and stick on the new one. If you want to leave the bezel chrome, you might want to get the one with the polished outside edge. If you really want the charcoal gray paint fill, we can leave the outside edge polished and paint fill the text and pinstripe for you.

I haven't developed anything yet. We are just talking about the option right now to see if the demand is there or not. I still need to order a factory bezel from Ford so I can take measurements to find out how much to cut and then make a custom fixture to machine the back side. It is not something that will be ready in the next few days. Also if your pulling the bezel off to modify and paint it, I don't think it would be that difficult to trim the bezel at the same time. I think the people that wanted the modified oval were the ones that wanted to keep the bezel chrome. If you want to wait a couple of weeks for us to develop the modified oval, I will let purchasing know.

looking at getting badges to replace the door 6.2L badges with the BOSS 6.2L. i would like them to look like the oem ones with the gray base and matte black inside but i would like the L to be blue flame metallic.

Not a problem at all. It would be close to this badge but instead of the main body being matte black powder coat, we would do charcoal gray. Then we would paint the recessed part of the 6.2 either a matte black or we now have a wrinkle finish black. Check out the link below.
