Windows dont work

here lately ive been having problems with my front windows, sometimes its just one of them and sometimes its both, I have to shut the truck off and restart and then they work, has anyone else had this problem?

There was a thread a while ago that ha something to do with the windows not always working, I can't quite remember what it was so I'm not ginna make guesses, but if you do a search, you may come up with some solutions.

As well I'm sure several people who know a bit more than me will chime in.

there's a wiring harness under your driver seat, make sure that's plugged in tight. it's a long shot but try it.

i figured out it only does it when i remote start the truck but not everytime, it never does it when i crank it with the key. I called the service guy at the local ford dealership and they said they have never heard of it

My passenger window stopped working for a day! For some reason it started working again and it never did it again since!

I have had this issue as well. Service Tech never heard of it. So infrequent that I will never get a chance to show them. Noticed that it is only the driver switches that don't work. If the passenger window is stuck, I can lean over and use that switch and the window will go up.

mine does it very often. i guess i need to take my custom tune off so next time it happens i can swing by and let them see it happening,
