I did a search from my phone. Didnt see anything helpful. If this has been solved and pin pointed already please link to it.
I have read and researched the surgical tube fix.

As most of you know I had a 14, 17 and now an 18 Raptor. Both Gen 2 trucks have terrible in cabin wind noise. The 17 and 18 have the noise in the identical place. Its somewhere on the driver side door A pillar or window area. I have used foam tube all over the door and seals to try and isolate it. I cant find it. Sounds like its coming from the upper front corner of the driver door.

If both my Gen 2 had the same wind noise then its likely wide spread. Has anyone found the exact source where wind is getting through?

Its driving me nuts. Sounds like a 1987 Ford ****** in the cabin of these trucks.
Passenger side is tight and quite. Lol

I have the same issue on my 17 and can’t figure out either. I work at a dealership (not ford) and we have a detector to check for these things. Going to have one of my techs check it and isolate it. Will let you know what we find.

Ran across a thread talking about this noise on here . Something to do with a simple adjustment. I don’t have this on my 18’ unless there are strong side wind gusts but that’s the only time I notice any. Search through general discussions you should find it.

My 18 is also very quiet. I have read some 150's and SD's having an issue. The fix I remember was inserting a rubber cord into the hole/channel of the door seal. I will see if I can dig it up.

I have no wind noise either. As a matter of fact I feel like it's quieter in the cabin than my Lexus GS. Is it only at certain speeds?

I am over sensitive to noises on or in my stuff. Hypersensitive is a better term probably.
Those of you that say your truck is quite are probably right. But take a test drive. Kill the radio, tell the kids to hush, tell the woman to stop complaining and asking you for more Xmas shopping money, roll the windows up and drive.

All jokes aside, once I hit 40mph and above its obvious. If the radio is on ir people are talking its not noticeable really.

As stated in my OP I know about the surgical tubing fix. But before I try that I want to know exactly where air is getting through.

Shit my 2017 was test driven by Ford in Dearborn for 20 miles and passed. Not sure how they missed it.

Driving from TX to KY for Thanksgiving. I want to solve it at least temp fix the wind noise before.

So you get the noise starting at 40mph? does it continue to get worse as speed increases? Have you put a db meter on it?

what do your door seems look like? how about the weather striping?

I echo previous poster about x winds. The only noise I get from wind, that isn’t tropical storm force wind, is if the moonroof is open in a crosswind. Then I get a metric $hit ton of howling and whistling.

Else... quiet as an off-road temple.
