Given Ford's huge investment in electric and recent breadcrumbs around moving toward electric backup motors ..in addition.. to the gas powerplants in their performance line, I don't think a V8 is in the cards for the next Gen Raptor. An instant additional ~250 ft/lbs of torque at 1 rpm wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing.
no lie
That’s not better fit and finish, it’s just more sh*t spread around the dash. It’s a Chrysler product so it is already junk on the showroom floor.
With RAM having an entry in the works, I think Ford would be making a huge mistake if they took a break. I think they will actually build more than in the past and make it easier to buy, (discounts are already happening on just released trucks) and give more allocations. What does everyone think on this? Will Raptor take another 3 year break after the 2020 model before the gen 3 is introduced or is it now part of the ongoing F-150 lineup?
Why do you say that about the Tremor? I had one and I kind of wish I kept it. I thought it was an excellent driving truck.Good question...so I looked up the history of the F-150s on Wikipedia:
Wow, I test drove the Tremor, good thing I passed on it.

I loved mine too...although there was really nothing special about them besides being rare. It was the only RCSB with the 3.5 ecoboost and the only RC FX4. But for a truck to get a special name like "Tremor" you'd think they would have done more to it performance wise besides 4:10 gears. They had the same engine and suspension as every other F150. But I still loved it.Why do you say that about the Tremor? I had one and I kind of wish I kept it. I thought it was an excellent driving truck.
