I just don’t think the numbers are accurate.

multiple sources now have put the TRX in the 3.7-3.9 second category and based on the rear wheel horsepower that the truck should produce.... if I had to guess... close to 600... as dodge has perennially underestimated their hellcat output... it is pretty spot on. So I think probably an average driver at a stop light.... not using launch control can expect a 4-4.5 second 0-60 and a mid 12 quarter (at sea level). Translation.... stock for stock it’s a lot faster than the current Raptor.

The same driver in a stock raptor under the same conditions would be lucky to do the same run in 5.2-5.5 to 60 and 14’s in the quarter.

will a well tuned, well bolted raptor hang with a TRX up to 60mph? Probably closer and dependent on the driver.... but extend that race out to 100 and it’s going to get lobsided quickly. — and just wait for the bolt-ons and the tunes for the TRX... there is a very mature modding platform already in place for the hellcat engine... at that point it won’t even be a contest.

I love my truck, but I don’t see this going any other way.

TFL had the Gen2 at 5.8. I will take a .3 sec hit and save 15g's all day. Not that 0-60 time is the end goal, but it is telling.

IMO I don't think Ford will care to one up the TRX in the horsepower/QM side of this offroad battle.

Think their game plan is to build a better offroad truck.

Feel confident saying these trucks have more power than needed when offroading at stock levels. You'll need better suspension/brakes before needing more HP.

Yep. What’s next? 900 HP? Yawn Put more premium off-roading suspension, tech in the truck.

No more V8 Raptors. Too many sold to China and Commiefornia. Will never meet EPA requirements.

I can safely guarantee that TRX will never get to those numbers. NEVER. Too heavy, too big tires. Just won't do it. I'd say that at tops 4.5 but for sure not less.
