It's too ugly for me to ever be interested in but I hope they build it. The Raptor needs some competition. I hope Dodge, Chevy, Toyota and Nissan all release factory built pre-runner inspired trucks.

I think the front end of a Dodge looks like a salamander or a small mouth bass.

Wow, Ford must be shaking in their boots because Dodge is years away from releasing a truck that competes with the G1. By the time this Ram finally shows up at dealers, the G3 will be just around the corner. Good job FCA, if something is irrelevant, put a blower on it and increase the price by $30k.

Hellcat Rebel TRX is probably going to cost close $100k and likely will be more street oriented. Won't be any competition to the raptor as far as price and off road performance but I suspect those currently using the raptor as a status symbol will jump ship and buy one. There are plenty of people with raptors who don't need a truck and just want the most expensive truck out there to say they have one, excluding super duty's since these are going to be too much for them to handle compared to the Range Rovers and Cayenne "trucks" they are trading in

Now the less powerful V8 version currently being dubbed as the Rebel TR is going to be interesting. That one will be closer to the raptor in price and off road performance if they do it right. Not sure how the quality is going to be as Ford has had several years with previous gen raptor to perfect the concept but if the price is right, I'm willing to bet there will be people trading in raptors just to boost their ego with a v8 sound.

FCA Dodge, Ram or whatever you call it, are all garbage. The whole company produces crap. Poor reliabity period. With the exception of the Wrangler none of the vehicles have any soul.

Just plain ugly copy of current tech. Looks like a, well, a front end only a mother could love.

Never buy the first of anything new. I'd bet there will be some serious crash and burns.

Jeezus if you want a Dodge err Ram buy a Ram. If you want the power buy that lipstick on a pig truck. If all you care about is a V-8 and/or more power go for it. Ford and this amazing forum won't miss you at all.

Park it and a Raptor side-by-side and tell me which one gets the attention. And who is giving each truck the attention.

And driving each one - which do you think will ride better and have higher quality?

You do know FCA is eating shit now because they're in such bad financial shape. They still make their Challenger and Charger and other cars on way too heavy chassis because they can't afford to update those heavy pigs.

I don't care what you buy or drive but just don't tell me how the Ram will be better than the Raptor at anything but street drags.

Concept was 575.

Release will be 707.

37s and 3.0” Fox suspension doesn’t sound like street oriented.

The Dodge will be like every other dodge I have ever seen, nothing but a rattle trap after a year. Dodge interiors are cheap and do not last. Why should this be any different. Yes it may have loads of power but still handle like shit, same with their other vehicles. The only dodge I have ever owned was a Viper back in 2014. Will never do that again. Dodge quality is not very good. Again some will buy it, but not my cup of tea. Raptor has much better styling in my opinion.
