Will Ford up the ante after the Rebel’s TRX launch?

I'd rock a TRX for 36 months or 36k miles.

There's literally no other truck like the Raptor on the market. The Power Wagon is the only other comparable, and even then that's an apple and watermelon comparison.

As others have noted already, competition breeds improvements. Ford has (rightfully so) dominated this niche.

I'm wed to my Gen 1, but I still think a production version TRX would be cool to see.

Jeep and Ram have been very low on the list of reliable/quality vehicles for years. They have actually swapped positions for last place. Like others have stated they just put a supercharger on vehicles as of late. They have been looking for someone to buy them out for years, wonder why? Yes, jeeps sell good , but that's not the whole story. Ram has made some improvements in styling and tech yes, but quality needs a lot of work still. I love my 2017 , but it can use some work. Better breaks, low speed handling in the rear. I can not wait to see the next improvements ford has in mind.

This truck looks like Dodge copied everything from the Raptor then added their own brand of ugly to it.

Like a few others on here I bought a Dodge Ram once. The truck was garbage and the dealership experience just icing on the **** cake.

Those of you thinking of jumping- just read any reviews on any of their product lines and ask yourself if this unicorn will surpass the quality standards of a company that's been floating at the bottom of the reliability lists for years

I think that Dodge did a great thing with the revised dash. I like the center electronic cluster and how it allows you to customize what you want it to be. I like that forward thinking... may be the only thing I like on the new ram though.

Just because Dodge makes something amazing, does not make our vehicles any worse...

Get a grip people.... Dodge makes some great shit!

You guys realize there are TONS of custom trucks I see all the time that are arguably a lot better then our raptors....

No matter how big your **** is... there is always a bigger one out there. That shouldn't stop your wife from enjoying yours....

So chill out, cheer on FCA, and say God Bless American Trucks!!!

Lol

Dodge hasn't made any amazing truck yet. But yes, I hope that they do in 3-4 years!

The more options the better.

The competition between manufacturers to bring Offroad capable trucks to the market will up the ante across the board and ultimately give us better trucks to choose from.

I was a die hard Toyota guy before I bought my Gen 1 Raptor. I had to put about $10k into a Tacoma to even get it somewhat close to running as fast as a Raptor in the dirt. Even with good suspension and tires it’s still slower and underpowered. I’ve given up on Toyota ever offering a real prerunner oriented truck. They have the racing experience but refuse to take the risk to offer a Raptor alternative.
