It's all true, including the rumor that they are adding purple as one of the new paint color options to be compliant with the 2020 Feng Shui initiative.

I actually started laughing when I read this.

the Raptor will be back, i dont see em holding off very long. at the first snoball when we went to SVT, Jamaal and i think it was the head of marketing for Ford said the Raptor was a great and suprising seller, and there are no plans to stop, it will be around for a while i think is what they said.

none of that is official, and plans could change, but if you could see them talking about the Raptor and the future.... its gonna be here, like SVT Mustangs, i think there will always be some sort of Raptor here on out, might take a year or two off for retooling, but the Raptor is here to stay i think.

I call shenanigans!

But shit.... if this is a potentially true, then I better get my act together!

The Ford plant will have enough problems trying to retool, get back up and running then launch the redesigned truck to even consider a 2015 Raptor.
Its a huge ordeal just to get a redesign launched, (warmed over version) never mind a whole new vehicle.

Lets just keep on posting we want one
The more posts ford sees the more likely they are to do so

Still sade they haven't brought them to dealers in europe
Even tough it would be on order only
I would save up for it

But atm its just so expensive with it costing €75.000 and upwards to get a dutch one
And with better fuel econamy it might be even fiable to take on the europeaan market

I honestly don't know if I would purchase a remodeled version if it doesn't come with a 6.2 or something equivalent.

The Raptor is not meant to be economical. It's meant to be the most menacing rig on the modern day road. In order for it to do that it needs a menacing engine and menacing looks. The thought of Ford possibly putting an ecoboost into a Ford Raptor to meet new "standards" is unnerving.

I know what you mean
But keep in mind economical is lil more needed here
Gass prices are double that of the US currently for non premium 95 ron ( europeaan ron 95 is like 90ish US if i remember right ) we pay €1,75 per litre

A gallon is 3.7 litre
A euro is 1.4 dollar

So that is 1,75 x 3.7 x 1.4 = about $9,- a gallon for low grade fuel
Premium gass will go at like 10 bucks

I know its a US truck
But it would help here across the pond...
Altough its not a deal breaker for me ...

While I understand where you are coming from with gas prices being too high. I don't agree with the statement about economical engines being needed in regards to the Raptor.

When people purchased their Raptor they knew how much gas costs. They also knew that in our economic climate that it's only going to keep going up. Sure it dips down here and their but long term it's only going one way, Up. They made an informed decision to buy the truck anyway.

It's kind of like buying a Ferrari knowing that it only takes 93 and then complaining about it only taking 93. And hoping that Ferrari is going to make an economical engine for it.

In my honest opinion if you want an economic vehicle buy a Tesla. Don't buy the 6000 lb truck that has a 36 gallon tank and is designed to do 60 mph + Off-road.

This is not a personal attack on you or your views. Just a rebuttal to your post. A little constructive debate is good once in awhile.

The raptor will be back. 100%. Not sure if it will be right now with the new truck coming though. It seems a lot of sources say something to the effect it will be announced this fall and built next year. That's my guess on how it will get here. The question of if it's coming or not......100% yes
