You will want to look at every option available before you spend the time and money for this. There have not been many happy reports when people change exhaust on this. Many go back to stock because they didn't like the louder version of what they had.
Suggestion - listen to the 2019 F150 Limited which has the same engine, same exhaust layout, but is done differently to keep the exhaust noise down, and turbo sound up.

I agree. I have heard a lot of really bad things about aftermarket exhausts with this truck. I am trying to research every possible option before I actually pull the trigger.

Like I said earlier from what I can tell the AFE 2FG has a little better/ aggressive tone on acceleration or throttle but no drone at highway crusing.

I don’t know. The more I read the less I wanna do this. I’m obviously open to any suggestions

Absolutely! That’s exactly something I would typically do too! Lol. Make them eat their words later

While talking to the dealer, have them swap a Limited Exhaust on your truck

Otherwise, all the other aftermarket exhausts rasp and don't have a deep tone.

You’re not looking far enough past Sasquatch77 / and subsequent aliases including the kid account trolling this thread.
@Guy has tried most of the exhausts prior to the awe release. There are sound clips from a lot of the exhausts out there and some of them do sound good. @Guy is pretty hard on the droning aspect, so he’s got a bit of a discerning ear in this regard.

The borla and F/P touring have seemed to get the most positive feedback, but there are other exhaust options out there that wake up the truck’s sound profile without being obnoxious.

I’m sorry, I didn’t realize I was being trolled?

I appreciate the input though!! This is a much tougher decision than it should be to put an exhaust on a truck

agreed. The government at all levels has a fetish for controlling your behavior. It’s not just EPA pollution regs, there are also pretty stringent sound regulations at play, so factories and anyone trying to business in CA are seriously impacted by .gov red tape.

There’s also the fact that we’re not getting true to life sound recordings to make the decisions from. Even well mic’d recordings of exhaust don’t put you in the cab, and you only get a frequency / sound impression, not the full sound.
