If this is something you really want, you can always just buy a hotspot and install it in your vehicle, then you can move it from vehicle to vehicle if you switch cars, etc. There are some that are cheap and designed for infrequent use, but if your are going to stream videos, etc, then it is going to get expensive.

All that to get to this! Much better option as you can take it anywhere. That said, if you do not have a phone that can be turned into a hotspot....get one and you are even better. ATT requires that you drop unlimited data if you are grandfathered in, to run hotspot on phone. However, if you have direct tv, which I would never have, you can get unlimited data and turn on the hotspot feature on a capable smartphone.
